Position: Associate Analyst
Location: Arlington, VA
Status: Regular FT/Exempt
Reports to: Program Director
The Company: Dare Mighty Things, Inc. is a veteran-owned business with offices located in the Washington, D.C. metro area and Portsmouth, NH. A for-profit management consulting firm, DMT specializes in creating and managing solutions that achieve important social outcomes for clients in the public and non-profit sectors.
Purpose: The Associate Analyst supports our client on a variety of projects by solving complex problems related to organization-wide performance. The Associate Analyst must translate research and training models into consulting solutions that address organizational change, communications, quality control, information flow, production methods, and cost analysis.
Typical assignments for analysts may also include leading or participating in strategic and business planning, needs assessment, benchmarking, product development, instructional systems design, knowledge management, and information systems development. They must possess outstanding skills in problem analysis and resolution, critical thinking, research, technical writing, data presentation, report preparation, and oral presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Data / Metrics Analysis
- Responsible for ongoing analysis of program information drawn from multiple databases.
- Development and preparation of information products and reports for client and staff.
- Develop program, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting specified data.
- Use and support database application and analytical tools to evaluate data quality, applications, and functions.
- Research and Writing
- Assist in the dissemination of data through client reports.
- Assist in authoring information products.
