About Us
Serving those who serve the least empowered in society
Established in 1991, Dare Mighty Things is a management consulting firm with offices in Arlington, Virginia; Portsmouth, New Hampshire; and New York City. The Portsmouth location includes extensive training and event facilities. We are a national leader in the development and implementation of large-scale social initiatives for vulnerable and at-risk populations.
The people we serve include government agencies, not-for-profit organizations and institutions who are charged with, or take on the responsibility for, delivering support services to at-risk populations within our society. These include prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families and children, high school drop-outs, traumatized children, young offenders, the homeless and others.
Our services cover a wide range of knowledge-based disciplines, and include:
- Design and implementation of outcome-based social programs
- Delivery of performance-based training and technical assistance
- Development of business plans and case statements
- Guidance in fund development and program sustainability
Since 1991, we have successfully developed, or have been integrally part of, over 100 major initiatives, with our involvement ranging from full program design and implementation to the development of research reports, business plans, program models, operational tools, and training and technical assistance programs.
Our training courses are internationally accredited to provide continuing education units (CEUs) to program leaders upon completion.
Our work is documented and supported by case studies available on this website.
