Catherine Plourde Catherine Plourde has more than twenty years of successful management and administrative experience drawn from non-profit and corporate theatres. Her familiarity gleaned from a range of administrative support to creative promotion and development has allowed her to build a versatile and approachable leadership style that serves well in a multi-function environment like ours. Accomplished in communication, written, verbal and visual, Catherine’s eye for detail and her experience in project development and marketing lend themselves to strengthening both internal and external communications and public relations for DMT. As the executive assistant to DMT’s president and CEO and in her Human Resource capacity, Catherine’s joy in dealing with people in a variety of settings and circumstances serves well. Her dynamic and mission-minded approach is a welcome asset. She counts among her most impassioned experiences her work with populations at at- risk including unwed mothers, crisis pregnancy centers, disadvantaged youth and single parent and low income families. Her compassion for challenged populations lends support to the operation of DMT. Though her Bachelor of Arts in Communications was earned at the University of New Hampshire, Catherine’s love of travel has prompted her to explore much of the country, choosing the New Hampshire Seacoast as her home. An avid runner, she is co-director of the annual Rye By the Sea Duathlon and Road Races, a run-bike-run event hosted at her church each June. She enjoys runs along the ocean and claims that keeping up with her son and his high-school activities keeps her active and outdoors. With a healthy competitive streak, Catherine enjoys watching and participating in a variety of sports and outdoor activities and is actively involved in several area ministries and organizations.
