Senior Consultant

Debbie Manoff has dedicated her life to helping people learn. She has been a teacher in the inner city in Philadelphia, a trainer, learning consultant and training director in both non-profit and corporate environments.

As a senior consultant for training delivery in our Portsmouth practice, she is responsible for the delivery of training and technical assistance for program clients at all levels, from entry level to senior leadership. Delivered nationwide, these training and consulting initiatives address our clients’ identified learning needs, such as at-risk youth counseling, education, mentoring and job training.

Debbie says she “fell” into the training profession when, based on her teaching experience, her mentor at CIGNA insurance identified her as the ideal person to develop and deliver a new training program. She soon realized that, while she had clear knowledge of how children learn, she didn’t fully understand the learning process for adults. It was then that she enrolled in a master’s program in adult education. Since completing her degree, she has used her expertise to lead the training function in multiple organizations.

Debbie earned her BS in Education and Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, and a MEd in Adult Education at Pennsylvania State University. She is the very proud mom of David, a fourth year medical student. Away from work, you’ll find her exploring the New England coast. With her fiancé Arthur, she has just purchased land and begun the process of building an energy efficient, geothermal home.
