Lisa Barnes Lampman
Senior Consultant

With more than twenty years of experience in the political, public, and non-profit sectors, Lisa Barnes-Lampan is a proven, results-oriented leader and organizational strategist.

Lisa provides Dare Mighty Things with support for its work on the Compassion Capital Fund National Resource Center. Much of her experience with non-profit and faith-based organizations is derived from her work serving as vice president of Prison Fellowship Ministries (PFM) and president of Neighbors Who Care (NWC), a subsidiary organization of PFM. A sought-after consultant, Lisa has come alongside non-profit, church, and public sector leaders to facilitate the design of realistic strategic plans, formulate fundraising strategies, and develop new program models for implementation. Some of the models include community re-entry programs for ex-prisoners and mentoring programs for children of prisoners. She is also known for creating dynamic training and instructional materials for church volunteers in crime victim assistance ministry. Lisa is a highly-regarded speaker and trainer in faith-based responses to individual and community crisis. She is the editor of two books, Helping a Neighbor in Crisis (Tyndale, 1997) and God and the Victim (Eerdmans, 1999), seminal works in the field of faith-based response to crisis and trauma caused by crime.

Lisa graduated from Duke University and studied at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. In 1996 she was named by Christianity Today magazine as one of the "50 Evangelical Leaders 40 and Under."
