Stephen F. Powell
Director of Contracts

Stephen Powell has been involved with all aspects of government contracting for over twenty six years. Although his prior experience has been primarily Department of Defense related, Stephen has supported contracts with several other government agencies.

Steve’s experience covers the full spectrum of conducting business with the US Government. These areas include proposal development strategies and pricing, negotiations, contract management, and final contract close out. Steve will act as liaison between Dare Mighty Things and its clients and subcontractors. As Director of Contracts he will develop policies and procedures and provide staff training in contractual and fiscal responsibilities.

Steve earned his BS in Business Administration Accounting from Old Dominion University. He has subsequently obtained a Certified Federal Contracts Management (CFCM) designation.

Steve is a life long resident of Virginia and resides in Fairfax with his wife, Debra and their two wonderful children Stephen Jr. and Natalie. Steve likes to spend his spare time fly fishing and interacting with his family.
