Terie Dreussi Smith is an author and consultant with aha! Process, Inc., Highlands, TX, since 1997. As a master trainer for different National ChalleNGe Institute course and workshop events, Terie presents on topics related to generational poverty.

Terie co-authored Bridges Out of Poverty: Strategies for Professionals and Communities with Dr. Ruby Payne and Philip DeVol. A former public school teacher, she has served as adjunct faculty for several colleges focused on empowering adult students transitioning out poverty.

In her recent consultant work as a grant writer and social program manager for youth-based service agencies, community coalitions and schools, Terie assists communities to embed Bridges Out of Poverty concepts in upgrading policies and services for families and youth in generational poverty.
