Dare Mighty Things Sponsors Ultraman
Todd Crandell and Racing For Recovery, November 4-10, 2009

"With sobriety anything is possible." - Todd Crandell

TC bioDare Mighty Things (DMT) is sponsoring the appearance of Ultraman, author, and Racing for Recovery founder Todd Crandell, PC, LCDC III in New Hampshire this Fall. Crandell arrives in the Seacoast on November 4, 2009 to kick off this intensive DMT-sponsored campaign to speak at local high schools, churches, jails, and other community venues, and race in the Seacoast Half Marathon. He will also launch the first NH Racing for Recovery support group at a community informational event at the Community Campus on November 9th in Portsmouth.

Todd lost a professional hockey career because of his addiction to drugs and alcohol. Now clean and sober for sixteen years, Todd has completed numerous Ironman races all over the world, and recently completed his second Ultraman race in Canada. His story, From Addict to Ironman was recently featured on ESPN SportsCenter. DMT decided to sponsor Todd's appearance because he embodies the principles that DMT builds into client programs in support of vulnerable populations.

Drug and alcohol addiction affects everyone in some way. In essence, everyone is vulnerable. Traditional recovery programs target only the addict. Racing for Recovery provides a unique holistic approach that supports the entire community.

Racing for Recovery support groups:

  • Provide support to individuals, families, and communities impacted by drug and alcohol addiction
  • Encourage health & fitness through an innovative approach to recovery and addiction prevention
  • Are coming to the Seacoast in November 2009!
